Devon Angel 7/2
There are a few unexposed runners in this field who could improve, but Devon Angel looks to be heading in the right direction. She caught the eye when finishing second at Chepstow last week, going down by just a neck to Naval Cop, and has been raised only 1lb for that effort. It was a solid run, and she now has a good chance to build on it. This is obviously low-grade stuff, but Rod Millman’s filly has plenty of experience for a two-year-old and should be able to put that to good use. She’s also stepping back up to six furlongs, which looks a positive given that she shaped quite well over this course and distance two starts ago when beaten by just three lengths. With that recent second under her belt and only a small rise in the weights, Devon Angel looks capable of going one better and is the one to beat.

Princess Felicia 4/1
Princess Felicia looks the one to beat in the first division of the 2m6½f handicap hurdle (5.41) after putting the race to bed in good style at Ballinrobe last month. She jumped fluently throughout and travelled strongly before asserting in the closing stages, with Peter Smithers never needing to resort to the whip. The 6lb rise is a slight concern on paper, but she looked well ahead of her mark that day and a rating of 83 may still underestimate her. She has the versatility to be ridden wherever suits and another bold showing looks on the cards.
